Store & Museum Op Shop. The Grocery
Store was opened in 1899 and ceased
trading in 2000. Enquire at the Museum
Office for tours.

Built by Rev. Carl Volkner around 1859. Hiona St Stephens Anglican Church
A reminder of a period of tension before European settlement. The Church serves as a
memorial to a man who is part of the history of Ōpōtiki. The adjacent Church Hall has
been converted to an Op Shop that raises funds for Church upkeep.
