Continuing on SH2 you will come to Riverview Lodge (see advert below) on the right just
before the Ōpōtiki Golf Course comes into sight. If you are keen for a round - take a right
before the bridge and right again into Hukutaia Road, first right is Fromow Road where
you will find The Ōpōtiki Golf Club house & Soul Infusion Catering.

Continue to the left over the Waioeka Bridge onto Bridge Street, ŌPŌTIKI – see Town
Map Page 31/32. On the left is New World Supermarket. Further on turn left onto
Church Street to find the ŌPŌTIKI CBD (Central Business District) or continue on to
the Stop Sign at St John Street intersection. From here it’s a right turn to Gisborne via the
Waioeka Gorge (see pages 56 to 58) or a left turn will take you past The Hot Bread Shop
30 Café and Caltex Ōpōtiki to continue “up the coast” on SH35 (see pages 60 to 85).
